Hi, I'm Laura Cardone, New Thought Business Guide, Author of Motivation at Work, creator of The Business Owners Guide to the Universe, and President of Profits with Purpose, Inc.

We are a consulting and multi-media publishing company in Virginia Beach, VA dedicated to helping enlightened business owners and conscious business leaders like you, feed your sprit, as well as your bottom line!   

If you're like me, you are passionate about creating a successful business, meaningful work and a balanced and fulfilling life. You also know, all too well, the realities of living in such a fast-paced world. Sometimes it seems like we're swimming alone in an infinite sea of information, "To Dos, Have-Tos and Shoulds".

How Profits with Purpose was Born

Before starting my business in 2003, I worked for over 20 years in leadership positions in Corporate America helping businesses grow and prosper. I've been a Vice President, Chief Information Officer, Director and Business Consultant for some of the largest companies in America. 

I had achieved many of the outward appearances of success, yet something was missing. I was working really hard, had the title and the money, "the dream" but it felt empty, and I was exhausted, physically and spiritually. Frenzied activity had taken over my life and I felt far more like a human doing, than a human being. Where was the sense of fulfillment?   

That's when I realized I needed to dissolve some of the old beliefs about work, success, and real accomplishment as opposed to "busyness". Success doesn't have to be hard. Yes, anything worthwhile requires effort, but we make our journey so much harder than it needs to be, when we don't align Right Thought with Right Action. We don't have to settle for less than we want in one area of our life, in order to achieve our goals in another. It is entirely possible to do what you love and love what you do, while aligning with more balance, ease and a healthier bottom line.

There are many ways to define a successful business and meaningful work. Whether it's the canine-filled office (like mine) or the corner office, it's all good ... when it includes your essential ingredients for a fulfilling life. For you can be, do or create absolutely anything you imagine. It's a great disservice to humanity when we allow fear, self-doubt or someone's else's version of success dictate what we can be, or how far we can take an organization.   

So I took a giant leap of faith, and followed my dreams of creating a company that would help enlightened leaders, like you, create a successful business, meaningful work and a balanced and fulfilling life ... your way. With this decision, came the opportunity to accelerate my studies in the principles of business, science, energy and spirit.

So you can expect an effective approach to success with an empowering twist.

I'd like to tell my customers, how very much I appreciate you, who have walked with me on this journey. Together we've paved new roads, explored new territory and discovered so many wonderful opportunities to expand beyond our concept of what we once thought was possible. 

My husband Jim and I, have three adult children, Dawn, Patrick and John who have surpassed us in so many wonderful ways. We also have 2 very enthusiastic Golden Retrievers, Chelsi and Sydney, who remind us to play more and "work" less. They keep us busy playing fetch, and walking in the nearby parks and beaches.

It is my sincere hope that you realize your greatest goals and dreams, and  thoroughly enjoy the journey. For there are no limits to what you can be, do or have! So stand in your own light and let it shine as brightly as it can!
