24KT Marketing: Putting the Law of Attraction in Action

A lot has been written in recent years about the Law of Cause and Effect, the Law of Attraction and of course, "The Secret" ... even though it's not really a secret, is it? For the Law of Attraction (or Karma if you prefer) has been taught by spiritual masters and philosophers for eons - from Plato to Buddha, Jesus, Emerson, Hill and Holmes... and now quantum physicists and psychologists are catching up.

But here's what's not always understood... and where most of us get hung up.

YOU ATTRACT WHAT YOU ARE ... NOT WHAT YOU WANT.

So there's the challenge, isn't it? For it is "the wanting" that often holds us apart from the desired experience.

Success comes when we embody the qualities and attributes that are aligned with what we say we want. It's about you catching up with what YOU want to be, do or have!

This universal truth applies to your marketing, as well as your business and personal life.

So understanding this subtle, yet very important distinction, is what determines your ability to have what you say you want.

Too often, we set marketing goals only half-believing it can happen, or we stay focused on the "not having it part".

For example, let's say you want to attract 12 ideal clients this month. When you focus on the goal, and in so doing, are only aware of your lack of those 12 ideal clients ... then your goal is actually working against you.

That's why positive expectancies and right focus are so important.

Set your marketing goal, then as you go about the activities that will help you attract what you envision - see it as already done and expect the best!

Replace strain with ease, and doubt with a steadfast vision of positive outcomes that are now yours.

The challenge comes for many of us when we allow the appearance of not yet having our desired outcome, become the primary area of focus. In so doing, we are cultivating a mental atmosphere of lack. This interferes with our self-confidence and belief in our ability to have all that we really desire. Does this sound familiar to you?

If so, you have plenty of company as most of us have struggled with aligning with our goals at some point. The biggest challenges tend to be those dreams that are charged with a high degree of emotional attachment.

As we put the Law of Attraction in Action, we may find that its underlying reality, like attracts like, and the need to embody the qualities of what we want, actually runs counter to what many of us have programmed ourselves to believe.

That is, success comes from a long struggle and hard work. Yes anything worthwhile requires effort, but it doesn't have to be hard. If we feel it is hard, we're actually keeping ourselves apart from what we want. Feelings of constriction such as stress, struggle and strain can't possibly bring you joy and prosperity.

Sometimes fear of not being good enough, or having enough time, money, expertise or the right connections or resources can also pop up.

If you feel frustration in your efforts to apply the Law of Attraction, release it. This is just part of the process of learning how to apply it. Be easy with yourself and tell your inner critic to take a permanent vacation!

Although The Law is simple, it requires us to reprogram our mental atmosphere. Let's face it, most of us have spent years in negative self-talk. So, it's no wonder that our confidence can be a bit shaky at times and we need a bit of TLC.

Consider this - do you really believe that wildly successful people consistently entertain thoughts and expectancies of failure? Of course not. Yet too often that is where we allow our thoughts to wander. "What if this doesn't' work? I've tried this before and I didn't reach my target. We're in a tough economy, who am I kidding?"

The extremely wealthy among us know that there are always opportunities ... regardless of the state of the economy.

We live in a universe that is always expanding. It is filled with infinite supply. So guide your thinking away from thoughts of scarcity and self-doubt.

IMAGINE WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS AND FEELS LIKE. THEN EMBRACE THOSE QUALITIES WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND SOUL.

- Believe in yourself!

- Know your products and services provide great value to others.

- See that YOU make a difference like only you can!

- Know that you live in an infinite universe with an unlimited supply of good.

- Always expect the best!

- Stay connected to the inspiring "purpose behind the profits".

- Know that your ideal customers will find you.

- Appreciate the opportunity to serve and the exchange of energy from connecting with those who benefit from your unique offering.

- Know that you are prosperous; everything you do is successful.

- No matter how much good you receive, expect more good tomorrow. That is how you grow and expand. This is not selfish for having more success, doesn't take it away from others.

- See good in every direction you look.

- Be persistent.

- If things seems hard, let that be your signal to pause. Invite in a sense of lightness and play. Choose ease instead of strain, abundance instead of scarcity, positive outcomes instead of self-doubt and faith instead of fear.

The essence of life is the energy we put into it. To attract success, we must embody beliefs in positive attainment. For that is what determines your point of attraction, and what you can receive - not the wanting of it.

We must live authentically, we can't avoid that. For success is about who we become, as a result of what we desire. This is how it works in life, business and when marketing our one-of-a-kind gifts!
